NewCity Harlan 2020

Harlan 2020 - a group of citizens in Harlan County, Kentucky - envisions new opportunities for the community.  In the spring of 2009, 25 citizens partnered with the NewCities Institute to learn leadership skills and techniques that would build strong working relationships and sustainable success.

We congratulate Harlan 2020 and all of those who are working hard to improve the quality of life within their own communities.  The Harlan 2020 Leadership Initiative was funded through the generosity of the Appalachian Regional Commission through the Brushy Fork Institute.  We acknowledge and thank them for their support.
